Ingredients

Popper Components
  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken Cooked, white meat
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Freshly grated
  • 1/3 cup Ranch Dressing Thick, white
  • 2-3 Jalapeños Minced, seeds removed
  • 1.5 cups Panko Breadcrumbs For coating

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl Large
  • 1 Heavy Skillet For frying

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheddar, minced jalapeños, and ranch dressing until cohesive.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes to firm up for easier rolling.
  3. Roll into 1-inch balls. Dredge in flour, then egg, then coat thoroughly in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry in 350°F (175°C) oil for 3-4 minutes until golden-brown and crispy. Garnish with parsley and pepper.

Notes

Ensure the oil is at the correct temperature before frying.
Freshly grated cheese provides the best melt for the interior.
