Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 3 1/2 cups All-purpose flour 440g
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar 200g
  • 3 Large eggs Room temperature
  • 3/4 cup Unsalted butter 170g, softened
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk 120ml
  • 2 tsp Baking powder 10ml
Filling & Decorating
  • 1 cup Heavy cream 240ml, whipped
  • 1/2 cup Peach jam or syrup 120ml
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar For coating
  • 2 drops Food coloring Pink and Orange

Equipment

  • 2 Baking Sheet Lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Piping Bag For the creamy filling

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  2. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and milk until a soft dough forms.
Bake and Hollow
  1. Roll into 1-inch balls and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  2. While warm, use a small knife to hollow out the flat side of each cookie dome.
Assembly
  1. Pipe peach cream filling into centers and press two cookies together.
  2. Dip sides in colored water to create an ombre effect, then roll in sugar.

Notes

Keep cookie crumbs to thicken the filling for better material realism.
Work quickly during the dipping process to prevent the cake from getting soggy.
