  • 2 slices Artisan Sourdough Bread Thick-cut, approx 3/4 inch
  • 3 tbsp Salted Butter Softened (45g)
  • 3 cloves Garlic Finely minced
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes 1g
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded, low-moisture (50g)
  • 1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded (50g)

  • 1 Small Bowl For mixing garlic butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley until smooth.
  2. Spread the garlic butter on one side of each bread slice. Flip over and layer mozzarella and cheddar on the unbuttered side. Close the sandwich.
  3. Place in a skillet over medium-low heat. Cover and cook for 3 minutes until golden-brown and cheese is melted. Flip and toast the other side for 2 minutes.

Notes

Use a lid while cooking to ensure the cheese melts perfectly before the bread burns.
Grate your own cheese for the best stretch.
