Ingredients

Slider Components
  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian Sweet Rolls sliced horizontally
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Pizza Sauce thick consistency
  • 12 oz (340g) Low-Moisture Mozzarella shredded
  • 6 oz (170g) Pepperoni Slices mini or regular
  • 4 tbsp (56g) Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 tbsp (15g) Parmesan Cheese finely grated

Equipment

  • 1 9x13 Baking Dish
  • 1 Pastry Brush
  • 1 Serrated Knife

Method

Prep and Toast
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the rolls horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish. Toast for 5 minutes to prevent sogginess.
Assemble the Sliders
  1. Spread pizza sauce over the bottom rolls. Add half the mozzarella, followed by a layer of pepperoni, then the remaining cheese.
  2. Place the top rolls on. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and oregano; brush over the rolls. Sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake
  1. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5-10 minutes more until the cheese is blistered and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

Use whole milk mozzarella for the best cheese pull.
Toast the bottom buns first to avoid a soggy slider.
