- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and smoked paprika until a thick, glossy syrup forms.
Cook the Salmon
- Pat salmon dry. Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 2-3 minutes.
- Generously brush the glaze over the salmon. Transfer the skillet to a 400°F (200°C) oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Switch to broil for the final 2 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and the edges are caramelized.
