- Cut the broccoli into uniform florets. Wash thoroughly and dry completely using a towel or salad spinner to ensure no steam during cooking.
- In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil until they have a slight oily sheen. Add minced garlic, coarse salt, and pepper, tossing to coat the crowns.
Cooking
- Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Place florets in the basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Halfway through cooking, shake the basket to ensure even blistered charred dark brown edges develop on all sides.
